Mask Monday

Who doesn't love a good mask? A 2017 resolution of mine was to take better care of my skin. There are a few ways I'm doing that. I've committed to getting a facial and a massage each month (1st session schedule this Thursday). I've also decided to do weekly facials. I was in Target and ran across this sensitive mud mask from Shea Moisture and decided to give it a try.I don't really have sensitive skin, but I try to use sensitive products when I can in case there's something out there I'm allergic to and don't know it yet.img_0298img_0279img_0281img_0280img_0283 The mask gives a tingle for the first minute or so but that eventually fades. I actually like the tingle (makes me think it's working). The one thing that sold me on this mask is the shea butter ingredient. I LOVESSSS me some shea butter. I know the wonders that it does for my hair so to see this ingredient in a facial mask is GREAT! Leave it on for 10 minutes or until it dries and wipe off with warm wet towel. I finish up with my favorite moisturizerimg_0288I've been using this moisturizer for months. It's really helped with brightening and improving my skin tone/hyperpigmentation.img_0291img_0292img_0293img_0294CLEAN FACE! They (dermatologist) recommend doing an at home facial at least 2 times a week so this may be something I do more than weekly. Looking for a nice charcoal mask. Tried the DiY version.....didn't work for me.JANUARY GOAL: Find and try a facial mask ****DONE!img_0301
