5 beauty Must Haves
Everybody has their must haves that they carry with them all the time. It could be your favorite perfume or that lipstick that perfectly enhances your pout. Whatever your items are, we’ve all experienced that feeling when we needed them and they weren’t there for us...I HATE that feeling and depending on what it is, it could literally affect my entire day. I’m not the only one who feels that way right?These are a few of my MUST HAVE items:
Kiehls lotion
No one wants to be ashy. Being a brown skin girl and having to deal with ash? Not gonna happen. I love these travel size versions because I can put them anywhere: on my desk at work, in my purse, my gym bag, my car, my husband’s car…you see where I’m going with this? My whole day is thrown off if I have to go around ashy. And before you say it…no! All lotions are not created equal! Lol I need a thick creamy lotion to properly moisturize my skin. It may cost more than Jergens or St. Ives but I know it works and that’s all I care about.
Carmex/Chapstick
I don’t have a favorite lipstick or lipgloss but I do care about my lips being properly moisturized under whatever lip shade I’m wearing. I like to use Chapstick in the Spring/Summer/Fall and Carmex in the winter when the weather is being super disrespectful.
Eye Liner
I know it may sound weird but yes, I will always have an eye liner in my bag for those occasions where I need to spruce up. I don’t wear waterproof eyeliner because it’s terrible trying to get off so I carry this around when my eye liner that I put on in the AM seems to be playing hide and go seek with me in the afternoon.
Hair ties
Nothing irritates me more than wanting to put my hair up but not having a hair tie to do so and it’s not like I can use any hair tie. So I make sure to keep at least 3-4 of these around when I need them.
Oil Blotting Sheets
These should be self-explanatory right? I don’t have oily skin but depending on how much I’m moving around during the day, the top of my forehead and nose can get shinier than a disco ball and these really help to minimize those shine situations.What are some of your beauty must haves?
