6 Foundations Under $25 for Dark Skin Women
Until recently, it was hard for me to find my exact foundation match. There were several brands where I had to mix 2 (or even 3) different shades to find something that worked and didn't leave me too red or ashy. Within the past 3-4 years, brands are making sure they are creating a range of shades for every type of woman...or be prepared for the Instagram/Twitter drag!Depending on the season or where I'm going, I like to change out my foundations weekly or even daily. It could be expensive but these foundations are all under $25 making it easier on your coins.
Black Opal True Colors - $10.95
This foundation starts off red once first applied but dries to the perfect shade.
Maybelline SuperStay Foundation - $11.99
This is my go-to foundation for the office. Easy to apply and the medium-full coverage gives me the perfect coverage for the workplace
Colourpop No Filter Natural Foundation - $12.00
One of the main benefits of this foundation is the buildable coverage. I could pair this with a concealer and apply light coverage or forego the concealer and apply 2-3 coats of coverage
Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation - $29.00
Okay so a little over 25 bucks but the medium to full coverage this foundation provides makes it work the few extra dollars.
Milani Conceal + Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation & Concealer - $9.99
This is a true full coverage foundation. I typically wear this makeup when I know I'm going to be out all day and need the coverage to be just a flawless at 9pm as it was at 9am. It's not a matte foundation so it does leave me a little oily throughout the day but nothing I can't manage with some oil blotting sheets.
