Easy DEcor Items to Refreshen Any Living Room
This month marks an ENTIRE year that our lives have been turn upside down. I can remember the exact day when I realized oh shit! This virus is serious if they’re making everyone work remote. My company didn’t come into the 21st Century with being able to work remote so to move everyone remote was a miracle in itself. Uh hello! I work better when I’m comfortable and not sitting in a cubicle with the temp on Antarctica.
Needless to say, I’ve been looking at the 4 walls of my house since last March. I was excited in the beginning. No waking up early, putting on makeup, deciding what to do with my hair, traffic, coffee runs to Starbucks (okay…maybe I did miss that one).
Fast forward 3 months and I started getting antsy. Even though we had only been in our house for only a year at the time, I was ready for a major upgrade/renovations. Husband quickly put my in my financial place. I still wanted to give my place a little refresh and decided to reach for a few of these items instead of building that third guest room or 4 glass wall office (yes … I was being a little extra). Here’s some items I decided to grab to refresh our space.
Pampas Grass
Pampas grass seemed to have taken Instagram by storm and the trend has not slowed down. I went the cheaper route and took some from my sister’s apartment lake trail but these are great options.
Statement Vase
I have been sleeping on H&M’s home décor section. They have some great pieces with even better price points.
Chic Coasters
I’m that person that can’t stand (literally can’t stand) seeing water rings left from cups. I have coasters in every nook and cranny of the house. It satisfies my sanity of not seeing those rings and adding simple chic décor pieces to my household. I may or may not change these our yearly (team #nojudgement)
Coffee Table Décor Pieces
You can go down a Pinterest hole with all the ways to decorate your coffee table. I personally think some big coffee table books, I plant with a cute vase, some coasters, and a unique décor piece is the perfect formula for a great table setup.
Full Length Mirror
Arhaus and Anthrolopogie will have you thinking a full-length mirror is beyond expensive. Don’t believe the hype! There are great options at a great price – including this full length mirror I got from Kirkland’s for a great price.
Cute + Comfy Throw Blanket
You know that comfy blanket that you always fall asleep on while watching movies? Yeah, you need one of those … just a little cuter.
Greenery

Upgrade Your Décor Pillows
When I have the itch to change my living room furniture, it usually means I’m ready to upgrade my décor pillows. I have a nice velvet grey couch so switching out pillows makes it easy to decide on color and fabric scheme
