Self Care Sunday - PM Skin Routine
So I posted this on my IG story and got a lot of questions and comments regarding what I use and how often use it. I figured it would be best to do a quick post to address all questions. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in comment section.I love Sundays! Though they are busy for me, I love taking an hour or so just to unwind. My day normally consists of: church, brunch, grocery shopping, meal prep, quick house clean, self care! It's important to not only take care of your loved ones but to take time to spend quality time on yourself. Here is my self care routine in order:To remove first layer of makeup:Equate Makeup Remover Towelettes - $5.97I don't have a favorite wipe. As long as it's sensitive, I don't have a preference. I picked them up at Walmart (they had a 2 pack for under 6 bucks so it's a winner for me). I use it to remove the first layer of my makeup and any eye makeup. To remove second layer:Sephora Supreme Cleansing Oil - $15.00I use an oil based cleanser to help get rid of makeup that the wipes may have missed. This oil transforms into a lotion when combined with water to cleanse deeply and remove any and all types of makeup. It also leave your skin soft with none of the oily film.Face Wash:Aveeno Cleansing Pads - $5.50Simple and effective. 2 of the main reasons why I use these wipes.Face Masks (only use these weekly):Biore - $5.64To unclog pores and remove unwanted dirt and oilFormula 10.0.6 - Peel Mask - $6.99Formula 10.0.6 has several peel masks but I love this one peels off dead skin, unclogs ports and leaves your skin with a glow.Toner:Witch Hazel - $3.64This is basically heaven in a bottle. I've only been using for a 2-3 months and my skin tone has started evening out and I having little to no breakouts. For the price point, this is the best product in my skin care collection.Night Serum (I use this every other day)Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Treatment - $35.00Helps to remove dark spots and evens skin toneMoisturizerNivea Crème - $0.92They have the larger versions but these smaller travel size versions work for me and have lasted for months. I buy about 3 at a time (keep one in bathroom, one in travel bag and one in purse just in case)Hopes this helps! Let me know if you have any questions~Cocoa Curls
